Snow Play

Perfect for Holidays With Kids

Families love snow holidays at Dinner Plain Alpine Village - everything is in one place and easy to get to. During the peak of winter, the perfect snow-playground is right outside your own doorstep! The village is frequently covered in snow in winter, and with each chalet having its own private car parking on site, there's no need to park and shuttle like at other resorts. Furthermore, there's no resort entry fees to get in to Dinner Plain. If you're coming from Bright, keep driving through Mount Hotham Alpine Resort on the Great Alpine Road (don't stop) and you can make it through to Dinner Plain without paying the Hotham resort entry fee.

There is nothing better than the classic family fun of building a snowman or an impromptu snowball fight, and Dinner Plain offers no lack of locations.

For the heart of the snow-play action, head to DP Hut - it's located right alongside the roundabout at the entrance to the village. Here you will find wide open space with ample room for fun and easy access to information, public toilets and BBQ facilities.
