Couples, families and friends can enjoy Wallace's, a comfortable, fully self-contained alpine retreat located in the heart of Dinner Plain, close to shops and amenities.

Built in classic alpine style and with a large car parking space for easy access, Wallace's sleeps up to five people comfortably; offering one double bedroom, one double and single bunk ensemble.

The kitchen is renovated, with a dishwasher, gas cook-top, oven, microwave and appliances, including a Nespresso machine (please bring your own pods). The lounge area has a plasma television, Blu-Ray DVD/CD/MP3 /iPod (5.1 home theatre), gas and wood heating, plus a collection of board games, DVDs and books.

Wallace's modern bathroom has a luxurious shower, toilet and full laundry facilities. There is a separate toilet and downstairs drying area.

Dinner Plain offers something for everybody all year round. Australia's premier ski resort, Mt Hotham is nearby and with many outdoor activities in the Alpine National Park right next door, your high country holiday has never looked better.

Wheel chains must be carried during winter and may be required to be fitted for vehicle access under snow conditions.

Pets are not allowed.

Wallace's is self-contained and the following items are included/supplied: All sheets, towels, pillowslips (beds are made for guests), hand towels, bathmats and tea towels; doona and pillows for all beds excluding day beds and sofa beds; firewood and starter pack of kindling, fire-lighters, matches; toilet paper, guest soaps (one per bed space); dishwashing liquid and dishwasher tablets; aluminium foil and plastic wrap; garbage and recycle bags; gas barbecue in summer. On-line bookings receive an automated confirmation at the time that your deposit/full payment is approved. Bookings are confirmed by email. Dinner Plain Accommodation and Management Services Office hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 12:00pm Things to do in Dinner Plain during summer include bushwalking, trail running, mountain bike trails (bikes for hire), 4WD to scenic and historical sites, picnic among Alpine scenery and visit historic high country huts. Things to do in Dinner Plain during winter include downhill skiing/boarding, tobogganing, show-shoeing, cross-country skiing, sled dog rides and visit Jenna at The Stables at DP for amazing food and coffee.
