Good morning. Well it's been a pretty windy and rainy night up here in the high country. We pride ourselves on informative reporting and telling it like it is.

In the alps it can't always be good!

So, here it goes, approx 25ml of rain along with severe winds has damaged our base of snow. The worst of it is over in terms of rain but the wind remains. Base ranges from 0-5 cm given the wind and rain, our 3 spots that we take measurements from are showing 5 but there are spots where we are back to green in the village

Netflix and chill.

It will be a day of retail therapy, maybe a spa at the onsen or a treatment at Alpine Beauty. Checkout the pubs, club wyndham or even Big Muster Distilling Co often forgotten opposite the ski slope.

XC Grooming paused. When its wet, best to leave it to avoid digging up mud. Will be reassessed tomorrow!

The good news is that we are expecting snow later today and into tomorrow, so fingers crossed we get a good top up!

Please note in regards to the cobungra platter ski lift, Mt Hotham Skiing Company runs the lift and the status can be found at
https://www.mthotham.com.au/mountain/conditions/lifts-terrain
Status on this report will default to stand-by, so updates should be checked above.

Toboggan Tickets available from the scrubbers end shelter (inside). Hours are 10am-4pm daily (subject to safety conditions)

There is a tree down on Vera.

Reminders, there is no tobogganing permitted on the ski slope. Please park in designated spaces for your accomodation. Parking on side of road hinders snow clearing operations. Overflow parking is available at scrubbers end. Details are available through your accomodation provider.
