Is there snowmaking at Dinner Plain?

There is snowmaking on the Cobungra Platter slope which offers skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing. Snowmaking will generally operate when conditions allow.

When should I fit my chains?

On your drive there are a number of chain fitting bays along the way with signage advising when to fit chains. Fit chains only when you are advised – fitting them too early or when not necessary can damage roads and your vehicle. Watch this video to learn about fitting snow chains to your vehicle.

Will the roads be cleared of snow?

We have a road maintenance crew in operation through the snow season who keep the roads cleared after significant snowfall.

When is the snow season?

The declared snow season in 2022 runs from June 11 to October 2, however snow can fall outside these times too.
